Learning / Implementation planning
Build an AI literacy programme around real responsibilities and systems.
Implementation begins before course assignment. The organisation needs to identify who deals with AI on its behalf, understand their responsibilities and context, choose proportionate measures and decide how effectiveness and change will be reviewed.

AI literacy and training assurance
Explore role-based pathways, assessed courses, system briefings, learner evidence, renewals and management reporting using hypothetical data. All organisations, people and systems shown were created for demonstration, and no client data appears.

AI literacy is not a single course everyone completes once. People need knowledge and practical capability reflecting their role, experience, technical understanding and the systems they use. EU AI Fit turns that principle into a managed programme with visible coverage, current evidence and outstanding work.
Role context shapes an explainable pathway. Campaigns assign controlled courses, while completion records retain curriculum version, baseline and final assessment, learning gain, acknowledgement and renewal date. Outstanding requirements remain visible rather than being concealed by an overall percentage.
General literacy is only part of competence. Approved system briefings explain permitted purpose, prohibited uses, limitations, checks, override authority and escalation. My Learning gives each learner one queue; management receives a frozen assurance report with an evidence index and visible gaps.
Why this matters
Buying one awareness course is easier than establishing what people actually need to know.
A general foundation can create common language, but an operator, developer, procurement lead and board member encounter different decisions, limitations and consequences.
The implementation plan therefore connects common foundations to role depth and approved system briefings, then defines assessment, remediation, renewal and management reporting before invitations are sent.
Who it is for
Everyone who selects, builds, uses, oversees or governs AI needs a proportionate route.
- Organisations establishing their first Article 4 programme
- Learning teams that need governance context
- System owners responsible for operating direction
- Leadership teams approving scope, resources and renewal
How the work moves
Translate responsibilities and system context into a maintained learning plan.
- 01
Map people to responsibilities
Identify staff and other people dealing with AI on the organisation's behalf, including selection, use, oversight, development and governance.
- 02
Establish the knowledge gap
Consider existing knowledge, experience, education, use context and the people or groups on whom the system is used.
- 03
Design the measures
Combine common foundations, role-relevant depth, practical assessment and approved system-specific direction.
- 04
Control evidence and renewal
Agree assignment, reminders, remediation, reporting, refresh dates and triggers from role or system change.
In this scenario
A business is introducing an AI-supported customer decision
Operations will use the output, product will configure the system and leaders will approve the operating boundary.
The implementation gives all three groups a shared foundation but separates what each must be able to recognise and do. Operators receive purpose, limitation and escalation direction; product receives testing and change responsibilities; leaders receive assurance and decision-accountability content.
The system briefing is approved before assignment and is reissued when a material system fact changes.
The programme reflects the work people perform and produces evidence the organisation can explain and maintain.
What is retained
An implementation plan linked to people, systems and renewal triggers.
A supported implementation begins by agreeing the people, pathways, evidence and review boundary.
- In-scope population and responsibility map
- Approved learning pathways and rationale
- System-briefing ownership and approval process
- Assessment and remediation approach
- Campaign, reporting and renewal plan
