AI governance work arrives from many directions: an overdue requirement, an unassigned risk, a supplier action, a specialist finding, a lifecycle decision or a review that is becoming stale. The EU AI Fit Action Centre brings that work into one controlled queue. At the top, the team can see its immediate posture: how many actions are open, which are urgent, which have no owner and what falls due within seven days.
EU AI Fit then recommends the next action. This is not a hidden compliance score. The reason is shown in plain language. An item may come first because it is overdue, needs an explicit decision, blocks lifecycle progress, concerns a high-risk system or still has no owner. The same reasoning appears on every row in the prioritised queue. The guided sequence also shows what should follow, while filters let a user narrow the queue by assignment, category, priority, AI system, owner or search term.
Administrators can select assignable work and update ownership or target dates together. Opening an action takes the user back to its source record. That record remains the authoritative place to complete the requirement, review or decision, so the Action Centre does not create a second version of the truth. The practical benefit is focus with accountability. Instead of searching across separate registers, the team can see what matters now, why it matters, who should act and where the supporting record belongs.
