EU AI Fit gives an organisation one practical place to govern artificial intelligence through its working life, not just a one-off assessment. The workspace starts with what needs attention now. It brings together actions, decisions, responsible owners, evidence gaps and upcoming reviews. Priorities are explained so a team can see why work matters and take the next logical step. Performance views reveal ageing work, overdue pressure and bottlenecks without pretending there is a magic compliance score.
Teams can build an AI portfolio manually or through a controlled spreadsheet import. For each system, EU AI Fit retains the exposure check, role and classification reasoning, accepted accountable ownership, lifecycle approvals, obligations and reassessment history. Evidence stays connected to the requirement it supports. A customer can use managed private storage or reference evidence held in its own infrastructure according to the contracted plan.
Review status, retention, legal hold, version history and recoverable deletion help keep the record controlled. Policy documents are also drafted, reviewed, approved and exported through a versioned workflow. Governance continues after approval. EU AI Fit supports risks and controls, indicators, incidents, recovery assurance, incident exercises, fundamental-rights-impact-assessment readiness and recurring managed reviews.
Third-party assurance is part of the same journey. Secure supplier questionnaires, buyer-questionnaire responses, readiness packs and independent specialist reviews turn outside requests into governed work, with findings and follow-up actions retained. People are covered too. Role-based learning pathways, assessed courses and system-specific briefings create evidence of competence, while assignments, campaigns, renewals and reporting help managers see where knowledge still needs attention.
